These drawings were inspired by the symmetry of well-known Rorschach inkblots. Female 'physical culture' images have been the root of my work for many years, and swimming and diving figures have always had a particular attraction to me, as I swam competitively from an early age. The divers’ exquisite sense of control, coupled with their isolated aerial bouyancy has kept them the main inspiration of my work.
